Balance is vital in our health and healing. Not only in how we live and perceive our lives, but also in the physical body. Without a constant mindfulness and effort towards balance, discomfort is inevitable, physically or mentally.
My passion is to help people find this balance; Whether I am talking literally about the balance in our physical bodies that allows us to stand or move in ease, or in a more subtle expression of the way we experience and choose to live our lives.
I am a mother and wife who loves to move and learn. I have a calling to help others become more comfortable in their bodies and their existence. At this time, I teach multiple genres of dance, yoga, and have a private office for bodywork, consulting and coaching. As a gymnast, then athlete, then dancer, my youth was ridden with acute and chronic injuries. I also struggled with anxiety and depression but was yet understanding how this impacted my physical pain. Frustrated that teachers and doctors seemed mostly ignorant or dismissive on how to help, I began self studying functional anatomy and movement during high school. However, I soon recognized the interplay of body and mind for wellbeing. Almost 20 years later, here I am, enthusiastically continuing down the endless rabbit hole of information pertaining to health and wellbeing. As follows is a list of programs, certifications, degrees, etc…
